Laurie Gregory
DPR Construction

Over her past 20 years, Laurie Gregory has been a leader in the construction industry and on a  variety of project types; including commercial, industrial, and residential. She is currently a Senior Project Manager at DPR Construction, working on the Greenville County Administration Building, an iconic gateway project, designed by Foster + Partners Architects. They have just celebrated a successful topping out of the project.

Laurie graduated from Clemson University’s Architecture program, and quickly realized her passion was for the field. She was introduced to an amazing female project manager, Julie Eldridge, who mentored her in her early construction career. She continued on this path, achieving a graduate degree in Construction Science and Management (CSM) from Clemson.

Laurie has maintained a focus on community engagement and developing the next generation of construction professionals throughout her career. During graduate school, she was involved in Student Government at Clemson, leading to a decade long dedication to serving on the CSM Industry Advisory Board Executive Committee, for which she received the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2020. She is currently an adjunct instructor at Greenville Technical Collage in the evenings, and has mentored several young women coming into the industry over the years. She is excited to have passed her exams for the SC Unlimited General Contractors License this year. She is also an active member of CREW Upstate and Women Construction Forum. In her spare time, you can find Laurie hosting a dinner for her Together Women Rise chapter, hiking in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains with her dogs and family, or paddling on the Saluda River that runs by her home.
